Corrections Policy

We want tools and educational pages to describe what the product actually does. If a calculation, conversion instruction, privacy statement, limitation or technical explanation is wrong, we want to correct it.

How to report an issue

Use the Contact page and include the page URL, a short description, reproduction steps, expected result and actual result. Do not send passwords, API keys, payment-card data or confidential documents.

How we review reports

  1. Reproduce the behavior when practical.
  2. Determine whether the issue is implementation, documentation, environment or unsupported input.
  3. Correct the code or content.
  4. Retest the affected workflow and related regression cases.
  5. Update a visible tested/reviewed date for material changes.

Material corrections

A material correction changes a factual claim, tool behavior, formula, privacy description, supported format or instruction that could affect a user's result. Minor spelling and layout changes normally do not need a public correction note.

Transparency

We do not create fake author names, fake reviews or fabricated external certifications. Where a page is team reviewed, it is attributed to the Get Tools Lab Editorial & Engineering Team.
